HR people are often stuck in the middle of difficult conversations. This session is designed to give them 3 tools to take back to their workplace to use and share with other leaders.  They will be able to create a structure that is easy to follow and implement, identify the words to get the conversation off to a positive start and how to create allies instead of an enemies.

Since so much of an HR professional's job requires dealing with people, and conversations surround HR, sometimes confound HR, and sometimes lead to their defeat, this program is designed to be a guide to use as often as necessary in HR's role in supporting the workforce.

Presenter Leslie C. Fiorenzo is the founder of Coach With Leslie, LLC. She founded her own practice after hearing the frustrations around poor communication and ineffective conflict management in many organizations.  Working with individuals and teams alike, she helps her clients maximize their productivity and focus and transform their inner critic to inner champion.  By working with Leslie, teams improve communication skills, resolve longstanding conflicts, maximize productivity and focus on what really matters: the people. Over her career, she has taught 1000’s of professionals’ conflict resolution techniques and she knows what works, and what doesn’t. That’s why she wrote Twenty-One Lessons for Mastering the Difficult Conversation. Along with several professional certifications, she holds a Master’s in human resource development from Western Michigan University.
