On behalf of the chapter, welcome to the website for the SHRM of Southeast Missouri, a non-profit membership association for human resources professionals in the Bootheel Region of Southeast Missouri. Our area is rich in history and our members have strong roots to the communities they represent. SHRM of Southeast Missouri is proud to be the resource for human resources professionals. The opportunity for human resource information, best practice exchange and networking are offered through our monthly meetings, special events, professional development seminars and our yearly Fall Conference. As an affiliate of the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM) which is over 300,000 professional members strong, we receive valuable HR information that is current and useful in our day to day organizational HR activities. SHRM’s motto is “Serve the Professional, Advance the Profession”. As HR professionals we are the first and best source for HR related information and I truly believe that our Chapter can make a difference in enhancing the role of the HR professional and the HR profession by communicating this to business and industry. My personal goal as your President is to serve you, the member. Without you and your willingness to volunteer, we cannot achieve our chapter goals. Our mission is to provide meaningful programming of interest to our profession, improve communications among our members and increase our network of resources. Please take a few minutes to visit our website and we invite you to attend a monthly meeting and see how membership can benefit you as a HR professional. Regards, Audrey Dowling |
